Kara Wentland

Legal Assistant
With the firm since 2020
Email: [email protected]

Kara began her legal career when she joined the Albany Police Department as a Police Cadet in 2013. She spent about three years with APD learning hands on experience during arrests, driving procedures, witnessing dispatch calls, and was involved in many court proceedings. While Kara knew she desired to be involved in law, she decided law enforcement was not exactly where she wanted to be long term. She sought out our firm in early 2020 and has earned the title of Legal Assistant; working on a wide variety of cases and areas of law for every attorney in the firm. Kara aspires to become a paralegal and is currently gaining the hands-on experience needed to attain that goal, with our firm.

Outside of work, Kara enjoys spending her days with her daughter and the two enjoy the outdoors, baking, and painting together. You can almost always find her with a coffee and book in hand. Kara is a multi-internationally published photographer, loves sailing, riding motorcycles, red wine, and practicing her Italian.
